IT Specialist

Job Purpose:

The IT Specialist ensures efficient and secure IT operations by providing comprehensive technical support, managing tickets and deployments, supporting security and vendor initiatives, and acting as the point of contact in the absence of the IT Team Lead to maintain service continuity and productivity.

Job Description:

• Reports to IT Team Lead
• Record, process and maintain all Local tickets on the LIT IT ticketing System ensuring that SLAs are met with utmost attention
• Provides support on Service Requests from multiple sources such as email, chat and telephone for all MNLXR employees requiring IT support
• Report on unusual and recurring issues to IT Team Lead
• Adhere to the troubleshooting steps and escalation processes
• Serves as the POC in the absence of IT Team Lead. This includes attending local/global meetings and adhering to target deadlines, commitments and escalations
• Provides support on deployments such as HBAs, new systems, hardware, workstations, network appliances and all related ICT projects / activities
• Provides support in maintaining hardware and software agreements to ensure integrity of operations processes
• Attends meeting (remotely / onsite) that is relevant to ICT and operations whenever needed
• Provides support and maintains the timeliness of submission for Security Tickets such as Quarterly Wi-Fi Scans, Annual Golden Image Creation, Monthly Facilities Review and Audits
• Provides support in Vendor Management
• Provides support in various security efforts such as Rapid7 Vulnerabilities, EPC, Quarterly Penetration Results, Inventory and others
• Maintains existing local IT initiatives such as Tech Tuesday, Newsletters, IT Roadshows, and others
• Maintains the Access Card management including onboarding and offboarding processes

Job Qualifications:

• University Degree in IT or any related courses.
• Fresh graduates are welcome
• Strong proficiency in English (written and verbal)
• Developed knowledge in ICT field
• Knowledgeable in intranet web services / sites
• Proficiency in MS Office / O365 Applications
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft tools such as Active Directory, Group Policies and Windows Deployment Kits
• Basic knowledge of Vendor and Assets Management
• Amenable to work in alternating shifts if business requires it
• Ability to work within a team
• Ability to learn and grasps information in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to respond in escalations to support the operational targets
• Ability to follow and implement processes and procedures
• Ability to manage conflicts
• Willing to work onsite at Alabang, Muntinlupa
