LINE COOK Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist and take instructions from the Head and Sous Chef in food preparation process.
- Measure, mix, and prepare meal ingredients, sauces, and seasonings accurately.
- Plate and present meal items as per the Head Chef or Sous Chef’s instructions.
- Receive deliveries and verify that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good
- Record supply inventory and inform the Head or Sous Chef when stock is low, as well as
- Dispose all expired and spoiled food items, and ensure that the food items are stocked
- Follow FIFO (First In, First Out) method.
- Perform basic cleaning duties and ensure that all work stations are properly organized and
