Facility & Maintenance Engineering Supervisor
QUALIFICATIONS:
Education- Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
- PRC Licensed Electrical Engineer is preferred.
- At least 5 years of progressive engineering and maintenance experience.
- Minimum of 3–5 years in a supervisory or leadership role.
- Experience in manufacturing, production, or industrial operations is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in asset management, facilities maintenance, fleet management, and engineering project implementation.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Plan the maintenance plan of all assets included in Asset Management System.
- Monitor and Maintain the Asset Management System and Fleet Safety Management System Database
For Asset:
- Phase 1: Asset Conception.
Be involved/perform in Asset conception such as designing, researching, brainstorming, establishing return on investment etc. in the conception of new asset; For project, create project documents such as Gantt chart, Bill of Materials, S-Curve etc.
- Phase 2: Asset Procurement
Coordinate / Collaborate with Procurement in purchasing the asset. May recommend brand and model, technical specifications etc. Shall ensure the warranty, technical support, Manual, maintenance plan, etc.
Search of supplier, coordinate and collect candidates or quotation- Phase 3: Asset Deployment
- Phase 4: Asset Utilization
Monitor Operability of Asset according to frequency of inspection
Accept Job Order and Plan the repair and maintenance by scheduling and preparation of materials
Coordinate status of Job Order to the requestor- Phase 5: Asset Disposal
Be involved in the disposition of the “for disposal” asset. Could help in the evaluation of asset value according to asset healthiness or scrap valuation.
FOR FLEET SAFETY MANAGEMENT- Monitor and Maintain the Fleet Safety Management Program of the company.
- Be involved in the creation of Fleet Safety Management Manual
- Coordinate with all vehicles accountable (user) for recording of all relevant information and data such as odometer
- Monitor and maintain the FSMS database for recording of all information related to vehicle such as ownership, accountable person, insurance, registration, inspection, vehicle care, maintenance, repair, administrative, etc.
- Search and partner with 3rd party vehicle shop and technician
- Discuss and present vehicle status report, repair and breakdown monitoring, maintenance cost and any other relevant KPIs
- Create all necessary Project document (hard copy / soft copy / databases) for all projects.
- Be involved for all aspect of Project from conceptualization, Designing, Budgeting, Supplier sourcing, qualification and evaluation, Implementation, Quality Control, Analysis, etc.
- Report and Present status and progress to any parties requiring it across all communication mode (text, chat, call, online meet, email, etc.)
- Lead the team of staff for the execution of FME plans and day to day activities
- Responsible for team output and accountability
- Responsible for team member’s learning and development in collaboration with Operations Manager and HR
- Responsible for team engagement and employee and team experience
- Inspect the work area for hazard and mitigate prior working; Inspect the work area for hazard prior leaving
- Perform 5S. See 5S Checklist
- Perform Inventory of Engineering Materials, Supplies, consumables, spare parts, PPE etc.
- Report output to Team Leader
- Report all abnormalities observe in the equipment, machine, any asset or to the facility. Use the tool, machine and equipment with utmost care, concern and proper handling
- Participate in any corrective action formulation. This includes root cause determination, investigation report and team discussion
- Participate in all improvement process undertakings, programs, project and activity. Suggest, recommend, comment and evaluate all ideas of the group
- Participate in EHSS HIRAC activity. Report Hazards, accident, near miss, close call and any of such nature
- Prepare and submit all kinds of leave application for all days able to report for duty. Notify immediate superior for inability to report for duty. Provide truthful and accurate reason for such
- Prepare and submit overtime form for all worked overtime and secure approval of department head
- Participate in the monthly meeting. Communicate suggestions, recommendation and opinions
- Participate in any learning and growth program of the company. This may include trainings, seminars, mentorship, coaching, workshop and any of such nature
- Participate in all HR process regarding severance and grievances if the need arises
- Be amenable to cross training and transfer of position from time to time as need arises. Comment on personal competency before such transfer
- Participate in any organizational culture and employee engagement program, project and activity of the company
- Participate in any temperature check, employee survey, and 360-degree feedback from the management
- Be amenable to all other related task as may be assigned or delegated to by the superiors or the management
