Kitchen Manager

As the business expands, we seek to hire a Kitchen Manager to join our growing company.

Job Responsibilities:

• Maintain inventory levels, order supplies, and ensure proper storage and rotation
• Monitor kitchen costs and contribute to budget planning and cost control
• Implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) and ensure staff adherence
• Responsible for reporting any Kitchen Equipment concerns to service providers
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to kitchen operations or staffing
• Conduct regular kitchen inspections and audits
• Coordinate with suppliers and manage vendor relationships to ensure timely and cost-effective deliveries
• Lead by example, fostering a positive, respectful, and safety-conscious kitchen environment
• Work hand-in-hand with and be accountable in reporting to the Facilities Manager and Director of Operations regarding any critical issues requiring urgent resolution

Job Requirements:

• Strong leadership and team management skills
• Excellent organizational and time-management abilities
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Culinary degree or equivalent experience preferred
• Proficiency in kitchen equipment, tools, and inventory systems
• Certification in food handling or safety is a plus
