Amazon Trucking Virtual Assistant

Job Responsibilities:

• Assign loads to drivers based on availability, location, equipment, and remaining Hours of Service (HOS)
• Monitor driver hours, reminding and flagging them to take their breaks or before their hours are up. Make plans or adjustments as necessary to prevent violations from being committed.
• Update load/stop status in the system drivers report progress
• Serve as primary point of contact for drivers during their shift — answer questions, help with app issues (including helping drivers edit Electronic Log Device [ELD] logs when needed).
• Track shipments and provide accurate ETAs to broker contacts.
• Maintain accurate dispatch records, trip logs, Bill of Lading (BOL), and Proof of Delivery (POD) the system.
• Escalate compliance risks (HOS violation risk, missing documentation, driver emergency) immediately to your shift lead / supervisor.
• Support the transition of driver documentation in the system.

Qualifications:

• Must have own laptop, with at least i3 processor and 8GB RAM, with backup power source
• Stable internet connection with at least 50Mbps speed, and with backup internet
• Excellent English Communication skills, written and verbal
• Amenability to work on weekends and with shifting schedules
• Willingness to be trained and highly trainable
• Preferably with experience being a Virtual Assistant, or working in a BPO.
• Experience in US Logistics or Transportation industry is a big plus
