Senior Business Analyst

About the role
As a Senior Business Analyst at APW Tech', you will play a crucial role in driving the company's strategic initiatives and digital transformation efforts. Reporting to the Head of Business Transformation, you will be responsible for analysing complex business requirements, designing innovative solutions, and collaborating cross-functionally to optimise processes and enhance operational efficiency.
What you'll be doing- Conducting in-depth analysis of business processes and requirements to identify pain points and opportunities for improvement
- Translating business needs into technical specifications and system requirements
- Designing and documenting business process models, user stories, and system architecture
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, operations, and subject matter experts, to ensure seamless integration and alignment
- Developing and implementing test plans to validate the effectiveness of proposed solutions
- Providing training and support to end-users on new systems and processes
- Continuously monitoring and optimising business processes to drive operational excellence
- Minimum 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role within the Information & Communication Technology industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and creatively
- Proficient in business analysis methodologies and tools, such as process mapping, user story writing, and requirements gathering
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to translate complex technical information into business-friendly terms
- Experience in leading cross-functional projects and coordinating the efforts of diverse teams
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in project management
- Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
