Accounting Supervisor

The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, providing insightful financial analysis, and supporting strategic decision-making. This role requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to lead and mentor a team.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee all aspects of the accounting function, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
• Prepare accurate and timely financial statements (e.g., balance sheets, income statements, cash flow statements) in accordance with relevant accounting standards and regulations.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies and procedures to ensure compliance and efficiency.
• Conduct monthly and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and variance analysis.
• Prepare and analyze budgets and forecasts, providing insights into financial performance and potential risks and opportunities.
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to track financial progress and identify areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with all tax regulations and prepare tax filings accurately and on time.
• Manage relationships with external auditors and other financial institutions.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the finance and accounting team.
• Collaborate with other departments to provide financial insights and support business initiatives.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy within the finance and accounting functions.
• Assist in the development and implementation of internal controls to safeguard company assets.
• Prepare ad-hoc financial reports and analyses as required by management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA (Certified Public Accountant) license is highly preferred.
• at least 5 years of progressive experience in accounting and finance
• Strong knowledge of Philippine Financial Reporting Standards (PFRS) and other relevant accounting regulations.
• Proven experience in preparing financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly and concisely to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
• High level of integrity, accuracy, and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
