Job Title: AREA MANAGER-FRANCHISE OWNED

Job Summary:
As an Area Manager of Famous Belgian Waffles, you will be responsible for overseeing the operations and performance of multiple Famous Belgian Waffles outlets within a designated geographic area. You will ensure that each outlet consistently delivers high-quality waffles, exceptional customer service, and achieves sales targets.

This role requires leadership skills, and passion to motivate team to achieve common goal.

You will be directly reporting to the Franchise Owned Operations Manager.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Operational Management
  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of Famous Belgian Waffles outlets in the area, ensuring compliance with company standards and policies.
  • Monitor and analyze key performance indictors (KPIs) such as sales, profitability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency.
  • Implement strategies to improve operational effectiveness, streamline, processes, and enhance overall performance.
  • Can adapt to different work environment, not limited to specific locations rather amenable to relocate, as needed arise.
  1. Staff Management and Training
  • Provide guidance, coaching, and support to Team lead and service crew, and supervisors fostering a positive and high-performing work environment.
  • Conducts regular performance evaluations, identify areas for improvement, and implement appropriate training programs.
  • Must have keen eye in identifying subordinate weakness and strength.
  1. Quality Assurance and Customer Service
  • Maintain the highest standards of food quality, cleanliness, and hygiene across all outlets.
  • Implement quality control measures, conduct regular inspections, and address any issues promptly.
  • Foster a customer-centric culture, ensuring exceptional service delivery and handling customer complaints effectively.
  • Upholding the brand’s values and reputation will be paramount, both within the outlets and in external interactions.
  1. New Store Openings
  • Responsible for initial engagement, store Ingress. Ensures he/she is on top of the 6-days store assistance provided by the company to the franchisee.
  • Conducts evaluation and recommendations.
  • As a Project Manager, you are expected to do updates, handle franchisee concerns. Study preventive measures to avoid recurring issues/compliant.
  1. Performance Analysis and Reporting
  • You will regularly analyze sales and operational data from each outlet within your area to assess performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • You will prepare reports and presentations for senior management, providing insights into the performance of the outlets in your area.
  1. Collaboration with Cross-Functional Teams
  • As an Area Manager, you will collaborate closely with various teams within the organization, including marketing, supply chain, and human resources.
  • Collaborating with the supply chain team will ensure consistent product supply, efficient inventory management, and adherence to quality standards.
  1. Crisis Management and Problem-Solving
  • In the face of challenges, such as supply chain disruptions, staffing issues, or unforeseen circumstances, you will be responsible for managing crises effectively.
  • Your problem-solving skills will be put to the test as you find creative solutions and make quick decisions to minimize disruptions and ensure business continuity.
  1. Business Growth/Expansion and Management
  • It is your role to ensure all opportunities are being presented and evaluated to your franchisee in order to produce a successful result.
  • Assist the Franchisee to identify right approach to increase profitability and business expansion.
  • Conducts Business Review to Franchisee to identify matters affecting store performance. Ensures appropriate recommendations and feedbacks from both parties are being discussed.

Qualifications/Requirements

✔ Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Hospitality Management and or any business-related field
✔ Proven experience in a Managerial or Supervisory role (within the Food and Beverage Industry)
✔ Leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
✔ Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
✔ Sound understanding of financial management principles
✔ Ability to analyze data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions
✔ Flexibility to travel outside designated area as needed.

✔ Ability to manage multiple stores
