Project engineer
About the role
Join JRBuilders Company Inc. as a Project Engineer based in Metro Manila. This full-time position plays a crucial role in the successful delivery of our civil and structural engineering projects. As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of project planning, coordination, and execution to ensure our projects meet the highest quality standards and are completed on time and within budget.
What you'll be doing- Manage the day-to-day operations of assigned construction projects
- Collaborate with project managers, architects, and other stakeholders to develop and implement detailed project plans
- Monitor and report on project progress, identifying and resolving any issues or challenges that arise
- Ensure compliance with all relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Oversee the work of construction teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure adherence to project specifications
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including cost estimates, progress reports, and as-built drawings
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend innovative solutions to enhance project efficiency
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Project Engineer or in a similar role within the construction industry
- Strong technical knowledge of civil/structural engineering principles, construction methods, and project management best practices
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively coordinate and collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in project management software, CAD tools, and other relevant technical applications
- Ability to work under pressure, prioritise tasks, and meet tight deadlines
- Passionate about delivering high-quality projects and continuously improving processes
