As part of our continued partnership with one of our key clients, we’re hiring a detail-oriented and proactive Group Finance Manager to join our team.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Group Finance Manager, you will take full ownership of the day-to-day finance operations across UK and international group entities, ensuring accurate reporting, strong financial control, and reliable decision support across the business.This is a highly hands-on SME role requiring both operational delivery and commercial insight.
Day-to-Day Finance & Control
- Own the full finance function across UK and international entities
- Prepare end-to-end monthly management accounts for all group companies
- Post journals, accruals, prepayments, and month-end adjustments
- Maintain accurate ledgers and ensure strong balance sheet reconciliations
- Ensure timely VAT submissions and statutory filings
- Manage accounting and reporting across multiple international entities
- Perform group consolidation, including intercompany reconciliations and eliminations
- Ensure consistent accounting policies across all entities
- Coordinate with local advisors for statutory and tax compliance matters
- Support preparation of statutory accounts across jurisdictions
- Prepare and actively manage group-wide cash flow forecasts
- Oversee working capital across multiple entities
- Support payment runs and cash prioritization decisions
- Assist with short-term liquidity and funding requirements
- Build and manage budgets and forecasts across group entities
- Provide clear variance analysis and commercial insight
- Support margin analysis, pricing decisions, and cost control initiatives
- Work directly within finance systems on a daily basis
- Maintain and enhance reporting within ERP systems (e.g. NetSuite)
- Drive process improvements and strengthen financial controls across the group
- Support and guide finance operations across the team where needed
- Act as the key finance contact for international entities
- Work closely with senior leadership and Finance Director
- Manage UK statutory accounts preparation and coordinate overseas filings
- Lead the group audit process and manage auditor queries
- Ensure full compliance with UK and relevant local regulations
- Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
- Strong hands-on experience in an SME or owner-managed business
- Proven ability to deliver end-to-end management accounts and month-end close
- Strong experience in cash flow management and working capital control
- Advanced Excel skills and confidence working in accounting systems
- Hands-on experience with NetSuite or similar ERP systems
- Experience managing multi-entity or international finance operations
- Exposure to group consolidation in a growing business
- Knowledge of Bulgarian and/or German accounting and statutory requirements
- Comfortable operating in a hands-on, multi-entity environment
