About This Opportunity
We are currently pooling highly qualified candidates to be part of our project team for an upcoming major bid. If our company is awarded the contract, we will be officially onboarding five (5) Agriculture and Food Security Consultants for the full duration of the project.This is an excellent opportunity to be part of a high-impact initiative driving transformation and food security in the agricultural sector.
Key Responsibilities- Agricultural Data Analytics: Analyze complex agricultural datasets to synthesize key insights, identify trends, and inform strategic decisions.
- Predictive Modeling: Utilize agricultural data to build and interpret predictive models that forecast agricultural outcomes, risks, and opportunities.
- Subject Matter Expertise (Agriculture): Serve as the primary SME for the agriculture sector, providing authoritative guidance on industry standards, challenges, and innovations.
- Transformation Programs: Advise and lead on how to effectively design, implement, and manage large-scale transformation programs specifically within the agricultural sector.
- Food Security Strategy: Act as the dedicated Food Security SME, ensuring that project objectives align with sustainable and secure food supply chain practices.
- Experience: 5 to 10 years of proven professional experience in agricultural science, agribusiness, food security initiatives, or agricultural data analysis.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Agricultural Science, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
- Certifications & Trainings: Must possess and provide proof of relevant certifications and formal training programs related to agricultural practices, data analytics, or food security.
- Data Skills: Strong capability in analyzing agricultural data sets and a solid understanding of predictive modeling concepts.
- Industry Knowledge: Deep, practical understanding of food security frameworks and agricultural transformation strategies.
- Communication: Excellent ability to translate complex data and agricultural concepts into actionable business insights for stakeholders.
