Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Regional Sales Manager for Day-old Chicks (DOC) to lead and to oversee the expanding sales of day-old chicks within the assigned region. The role involves developing and executing sales strategies, building strong customer relationships, and achieving revenue targets.The ideal candidate should have a strong background in the poultry industry and excellent negotiation skills.
Key Responsibilities :
- Oversee and manage the sales of day-old chicks, ensuring targets are met and sales strategies are effectively implemented.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, providing excellent customer service and addressing any concerns or issues.
- Analyze market trends and sales performance, using data to inform decisions and improve sales strategies.
- Train, mentor, and support the sales team, fostering a collaborative and high-performing environment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, ensuring the quality and timely delivery of products.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Agriculture or any related field.
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in poultry product sales, specifically day-old chicks.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with the ability to use data to drive decisions.
- Proven experience in regional sales and business development.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and leadership skills.
- Ability to travel extensively within the assigned region.
- Proficiency in CRM tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
