JOB SUMMARY:

This job directly reports to the Associate Director- sales Channel. The Bidding Officer is responsible for managing and monitoring the end to end process of government bids, collaborating with departments to set competitive pricing and ensuring efficient cost management.

They ensure that the respective departments in charge of preparing compliant bidding documents are performed. The Bidding officer assigns his team to coordinate item ordering and oversee item transfers within the organization.

Additionally, they supervise sales transactions and track collections, ensuring financial goals are met. Their role also involves staying informed about market trends, fostering effective communication, adapting to change, and maintaining compliance with legal and ethical standards.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in business administration, Commerce, Marketing, or any business-related courses
Minimum of 4 years relevant work experience specializing in Sales, Bidding or Project Management

TECHNICAL COMPETENCY NEEDS :

Numerical Reasoning
Basic knowledge in MS Applications (Work, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiar with system applications in retail such as JDA, Barter, NetSuite, or equivalent
