Job Description:

The Finance and Accounting Specialist is responsible for the management of the overall Finance and Accounting Office operations. This position is primarily responsible for the following:

  • Prepare, review, and analyze financial reports, including Income Statements, Balance Sheets,
Cash Flow Statements, and annual operating budgets, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Supervise the daily accounting operations, ensuring all financial transactions are properly

recorded in accordance with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) and company

policies.
  • Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, subsidiary ledgers, and general ledger
maintenance.
  • Ensure full compliance with taxation requirements, statutory obligations, and financial
reporting standards.
  • Establish, monitor, and strengthen internal control systems to safeguard company assets and
minimize financial risk.
  • Manage cash flow, working capital, and budget utilization to support operational and strategic
objectives.
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors, government agencies, banks, and other
stakeholders on finance-related matters.
  • Provide management with sound financial analysis, recommendations, and strategic insights to
support decision-making.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of accounting staff to ensure efficiency,

productivity, and professional growth.

Qualifications:

  • Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA) with strong scholastic credentials.
  • Minimum of 3–5 years relevant work experience in finance, accounting, or auditing, with at least 2 years in a supervisory capacity preferred.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal controls.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of Philippine taxation, statutory compliance, and regulatory
requirements.
  • Proficient in accounting systems, ERP platforms, and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong leadership ability with proven experience in team supervision and performance
management.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate across departments.
  • Highly organized with excellent time management and ability to meet strict deadlines.
  • Able to work independently with minimal supervision and under pressure.
  • Trustworthy, dependable, and capable of handling highly confidential financial information.
  • Demonstrates integrity, accountability, and a strong sense of duty and professionalism.
