About the role

We are seeking an experienced Technical Sales Representative to join PT BANGUNPERKASA ADHITAMASENTRA. This is a full-time position based in Manila City, Metro Manila, Philippines. In this strategic role, you will be responsible for selling complex technical products and solutions to clients whilst providing expert guidance and support.

You will serve as a key link between our technical teams and customers, ensuring that client needs are fully understood and met with tailored solutions that drive business growth and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Intelligence & Survey: Conduct regular field visits to hardware stores, distributors, and construction sites to update market conditions and map industry trends.
  • Competitor Pricing Tracking: Actively monitor and report competitor pricing, promotional activities, and product updates within the building materials sector.
  • Distributor Support & Complaint Handling: Serve as the main point of contact for local distributors. Assist them in handling technical inquiries or product complaints from customers to ensure quick resolution.
  • Market Development: Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors and help identify new market opportunities for our products.
  • Reporting: Prepare accurate weekly and monthly reports regarding market prices, competitor activities, and distributor feedback for the regional management team.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Minimum 2-3 years of experience as a Technical Sales, Field Sales, or Account Representative in the building materials, hardware retail, or construction industry (experience with fiber cement boards, wallboards, gypsum board or roofing is highly preferred).
  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, Civil Engineering, or any related field.
  • Language: Fluent in Tagalog and English (both written and verbal).
  • Skills: Strong analytical skills for market tracking, excellent communication for handling complaints, and proficiency in MS Excel/Word for reporting.
  • Mobility: Must be willing to travel frequently for field surveys and distributor visits. A valid driver’s license is required.
  • Location: Based in the Philippines (Local Candidate).
