About the role
We are seeking a dedicated Payroll Assistant to join our team at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative' in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a Payroll Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our employees.This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work within a dynamic accounting team and contribute to the overall success of the company.
What you'll be doing- Prepare and process bi-weekly payroll for all employees, including calculating gross pay, deductions, and net pay
- Maintain accurate employee records and update payroll information as required
- Ensure compliance with all relevant payroll-related laws, regulations, and company policies
- Assist in the preparation of payroll reports and other related documentation
- Collaborate with the accounting team to reconcile payroll data and address any discrepancies
- Provide support and assistance to employees regarding payroll-related inquiries
- Stay up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices
- High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on accounting or payroll
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a payroll or accounting role, preferably in the janitorial or services industry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical skills
- Proficient in the use of payroll software and spreadsheet applications
- Ability to work collaboratively with the accounting team and communicate effectively with employees
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Familiarity with relevant payroll laws and regulations
