About the role
As a Payroll Assistant at ZC Kings Manpower Janitorial Services Cooperative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accurate and timely processing of payroll for our valued employees. Reporting to the Payroll Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining employee records, calculating payroll, and addressing any queries or issues that may arise.This full-time position is based in Pasig City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Assist in the preparation and processing of biweekly payroll for all employees
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including hours worked, overtime, leave, and other payroll-related information
- Conduct thorough reviews of payroll data to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
- Respond to employee inquiries and address any payroll-related issues or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner
- Collaborate with the Payroll Manager and other team members to identify and implement process improvements
- Assist with the preparation of payroll reports and other documentation as required
- At least 2 years of experience in a payroll or accounting role, preferably in the janitorial services or a similar industry
- Strong knowledge of payroll processing, taxation, and related compliance requirements
- Excellent attention to detail and numerical accuracy
- Proficient in using payroll software and spreadsheet applications, such as Microsoft Excel
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with employees and other stakeholders
- Ability to work well in a team and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
