Project Engineer

The Project Engineer supports the successful execution of construction and engineering projects by assisting in planning, coordination, implementation, and monitoring activities. This position ensures that project requirements, technical specifications, safety standards, and schedules are effectively met throughout the project lifecycle.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Assist in the planning, design, and implementation of engineering and construction projects.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with approved plans, specifications, drawings, quality standards, and safety requirements.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, subcontractors, and suppliers regarding project requirements, schedules, and technical concerns.
• Prepare and maintain project reports, work schedules, progress updates, and technical documentation.
• Review engineering drawings, plans, and technical specifications to ensure accuracy and constructability.
• Conduct site inspections and monitor construction activities to ensure adherence to project requirements and safety regulations.
• Identify project issues, risks, and delays, and recommend corrective actions to maintain project timelines.
• Assist in project cost monitoring and resource allocation to ensure efficient project execution.
• Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to project teams.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of project records, correspondence, and reports.
• Support the Project Manager in achieving project objectives and delivering quality project outcomes.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology, or related engineering field.
• Licensed Engineer is preferred.
• Proven experience in project engineering, construction management, or related roles.
• Strong knowledge of engineering principles, construction methodologies, and project management practices.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and engineering/design software.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
