Hotel Accounting Staff

The Hotel Accounting Staff is responsible for supporting daily accounting and financial operations of a hotel. The role ensures accurate recording of financial transactions, compliance with company policies, and adherence to Philippine accounting and tax regulations.
The position requires flexibility and willingness to be assigned to any hotel within the company’s hotel group nationwide, as operational needs require.
Key Responsibilities- Record and maintain accurate accounting entries for daily hotel transactions
- Assist in accounts payable and accounts receivable processing
- Prepare and monitor billing, collections, and official receipts
- Handle cash, petty cash, and bank reconciliation
- Assist in the preparation of monthly financial reports and schedules
- Support inventory monitoring, costing, and expense tracking
- Ensure proper filing and safekeeping of accounting records and supporting documents
- Assist during internal and external audits
- Ensure compliance with company policies and Philippine accounting and tax regulations
- Coordinate with other departments regarding billing, reimbursements, and financial concerns
- Coordinate with Corporate Accounting on reporting and audit requirements
- Be willing to be assigned or re-assigned to any hotel within the group nationwide, as required
- Graduate of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Management Accounting, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related course
- At least 1 year of accounting experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply
- Knowledge of basic accounting principles and Philippine taxation
- Familiarity with BIR requirements and documentation is an advantage
- Proficient in MS Excel and accounting software
- Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail
- Ability to handle confidential financial information
- Willing to work flexible hours and accept assignments to different hotel locations nationwide
