Job Summary
Clinical Data Analyst is responsible for transforming healthcare data into actionable insights that support clinical operations, population health initiatives and performance improvement.
Operating within a Global Business Services environment, this role supports cross-functional collaboration, operational excellence and service delivery outcomes across U.S. healthcare teams.
What you'll do- Analyze population health and clinical data to identify trends, care gaps and performance opportunities
- Support value-based care initiatives through analysis of patient outcomes, utilization and risk stratification
- Monitor clinical and operational metrics including chronic disease management, readmission rates and preventive care
- Perform data analysis using electronic health record systems such as Epic
- Design and maintain dashboards, scorecards and reports for clinical and business stakeholders
- Develop automated and ad hoc reporting solutions using healthcare and operational datasets
- Ensure accuracy, consistency and integrity of reporting outputs
- Translate complex data into clear visualizations and actionable insights for leadership
- Identify data trends, anomalies and performance concerns and escalate findings as needed
- Support root cause analysis and recommend process improvements and corrective actions
- Collaborate with clinical, population health, quality and IT teams to address reporting needs
- Contribute to operational analytics initiatives focusing on efficiency, patient access and care coordination
- Document reporting logic, data definitions and business rules to support standardization
- Perform quality assurance checks and validate data accuracy in reports and dashboards
- Ensure compliance with data governance standards, HIPAA requirements and healthcare regulations
- Maintain confidentiality and security of patient and operational data
What you bring
Experience- 3+ years in healthcare analytics, clinical reporting, population health analytics or operational data analysis required
- Knowledge in data analysis, reporting and healthcare datasets required
- Experience working with Epic electronic health record data preferred
- Knowledge in data visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare, Data Analytics, Information Systems or related field required
