Clinic Nurse

Overview of Position

The Clinic Nurse is responsible for providing primary nursing care, administering treatments, promoting preventive healthcare, and maintaining clinic operations. The role also supports workplace health and safety by ensuring compliance with occupational health standards and assisting in the implementation of health and wellness programs.

1. Patient Care

• Provide basic nursing services, including vital signs monitoring, wound care, injections, IV therapy, and medication administration.
• Assist physicians during consultations, examinations, and minor procedures.
• Provide first aid and emergency response when needed.

1. Health Monitoring & Preventive Care

• Conduct health assessments, screenings, and immunization programs.
• Support maternal and child health programs, including prenatal, postnatal, and child development monitoring.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, nutrition, hygiene, and healthy lifestyle practices.
• Promote occupational health, workplace safety, and employee wellness initiatives.

1. Clinic & Administrative Operations

• Maintain cleanliness, safety, and infection control within the clinic.
• Manage medical supplies, medicines, and clinic equipment.
• Maintain accurate patient records, reports, referrals, and other medical documentation.
• Perform cashiering duties, including receiving payments, issuing receipts, and monitoring collections.
• Scan, organize, and maintain patient records.
• Assist in preparing reports related to occupational health and safety compliance, when required.

1. Compliance & Professionalism

• Adhere to nursing ethics, patient confidentiality, and standard clinical protocols.
• Ensure compliance with Department of Health (DOH) regulations and Occupational Safety and Health (OSH) standards.
• Participate in continuing education, BOSH-related activities, and professional development programs.

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
• Registered Nurse with a valid PRC License.
• Preferably with at least one (1) year of clinical or occupational health experience.
• With Basic Occupational Safety and Health (BOSH) Training Certificate or willing to undergo BOSH training.
• Knowledge of DOH regulations and Occupational Safety and Health Standards is an advantage.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Strong planning, organizational, and documentation skills.
• Demonstrates initiative, professionalism, and a positive attitude.
• Able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
