Accounting Supervisor (Finance and Admin)
About the role
Information Professionals, Inc. is seeking an experienced Accounting Supervisor (Finance and Admin) to join our dynamic team in Quezon City Metro Manila. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the organisation's financial accounting and reporting processes, ensuring accurate and timely financial information is provided to key stakeholders.
What you'll be doing- Manage and supervise the day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and month-end close processes
- Prepare accurate and timely financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports
- Reconcile bank accounts and other balance sheet accounts on a regular basis
- Oversee the preparation and filing of tax returns and other regulatory reports
- Assist with the development and implementation of accounting policies and procedures
- Provide financial analysis and advice to support business decision-making
- Mentor and develop the accounting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field
- CPA certification or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role within a financial accounting and reporting function
- Proficiency in financial reporting, general ledger accounting, and financial analysis
- Strong understanding of accounting principles, practices, and regulations
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Proficient in using accounting software and data analysis tools
- Proven track record of driving process improvements and optimising financial operations
