District Sales Manager

Job Objective

Responsible for leading and managing the sales team within a designated geographical area. Your primary goal is to drive sales performance, meet revenue targets, and ensure the successful execution of the company's sales strategy at the district level.

This role requires strategic thinking, leadership skills, and a hands-on approach to sales management.

Responsibilities

Team Leadership:

  • Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales team.
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and motivation to the sales team to achieve individual and collective targets.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and implement corrective actions as needed.

Sales Strategy:

  • Develop and implement a district-level sales strategy aligned with organizational goals.
  • Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a cohesive market penetration and customer satisfaction approach.

Target Achievement:

  • Set and communicate sales targets for the district in alignment with corporate objectives.
  • Monitor and analyze sales performance data to identify areas for improvement and take corrective action as needed.
  • Implement strategies to maximize revenue and market share within the district.

Customer Relationship Management:

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and clients.
  • Address customer issues and concerns in a timely and effective manner.
  • Gather customer feedback to enhance products or services and improve customer satisfaction.

Training and Development:

  • Conduct regular training sessions for the sales team to enhance product knowledge, selling skills, and customer relationship management.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and provide relevant information and training to the team.

Budget Management:

  • Develop and manage the district sales budget, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Monitor expenses and take appropriate actions to control costs while maximizing sales opportunities

Performs other tasks that may be assigned

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, or any related field. With MBA is an advantage
  • At least five (5) years of Sales experience and three (3) years managerial experience
  • Advance MS office
  • Must have strong leadership and interpersonal skills, excellent communication and presentation abilities, analytical and strategic thinking with the ability to make data-driven decisions, familiarity with the industry and market trends, and the ability to negotiate and collaborate.

  • Heavy fieldwork. Frequent visits to prospective clients
