National Sales Manager
Job Objective:
To set the long-term vision and strategy for Cardio-metabolic Division. The National Sales Manager will lead, coach, and manage the sales force to achieve targets while executing strategic sales and marketing plans.
Key Responsibilities:
Strategic:
- Define and implement sales and marketing strategies
- Lead portfolio planning and product in-licensing strategy
- Drive overall business growth and alignment
Operational:
- Manage distribution networks and doctor engagement
- Oversee geographic coverage and customer database
- Analyze sales performance and market trends
Financial:
- Monitor budgets, ensure target achievement
- Analyze and report sales figures
- Ensure timely collections and financial discipline
People Management:
- Lead and coach District Sales Managers
- Oversee performance appraisals and training
- Ensure full implementation of marketing plans
✅ Qualifications:
- Graduate of any four-year course preferably in Business, Marketing or Allied Medical Science
- Minimum 10 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales/marketing, with 5+ years in a leadership role
- Strong understanding of product portfolio management esp in Cardio-Metabolic, market dynamics, and KOL engagement
- Excellent leadership, strategic thinking, and analytical skills
- Willing to travel as needed
