As an HR Assistant, you will be assigned to implement day-to-day activities/procedures of the Human Resources department in the following facets: recruitment and plantilla management, timekeeping and payroll, compensation and benefits, performance management, employee and labor relations, and rewards and recognition

Duties and Responsibilities:

Recruitment/Plantilla Management
  • Monitors branch plantilla
  • Maintains and updates 201 files of contractors and suppliers employees
  • Conducts recruitment activities to serve the manpower requirements
Timekeeping
  • Checks and validates daily attendance of personnel such as overtime, leave, travel, and timekeeping applications in HRIS
  • Prepares summary report and processes DTR report of employees
  • Attends to employees’ salary/timekeeping related concerns
  • Prepares timekeeping/payroll-related reports timely and accurately such as but not limited to payroll summary, perfect attendance, and other attendance-related reports
Compensation and Benefits
  • Coordinates with head office compensation and benefits team on filing, processing, and enrollment of government benefits, HMO, SSS loan, HDMF loan, and company loan requests
Performance Management
  • Conducts performance appraisal feedback of employees with department heads (probationary, semi and annual appraisal and renewal of service contract)
Employee and Labor Relations
  • Conducts initial investigation based on the forwarded incident report by the concerned department to be submitted to the HR head for review
  • Prepares and facilitates concerns, grievances, inquiries, and feedback to be escalated to the HR Manager
  • Computes HR grade as part of performance appraisal
  • Generates monthly report of employees’ attendance to HR Supervisor for disciplinary action
  • Prepares tardiness memos and other disciplinary-related letters to agencies and suppliers
  • Conducts exit interviews of separated employees and facilitates clearance signing
  • Performs other HR/administrative tasks that may be assigned from time to time

We are looking for someone with:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Psychology, or any equivalent program. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
  • With a good foundation in the facets of Human Resource Management is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of the Philippine Labor Code/Law is an advantage.
  • Good written and oral communication skills
  • Willing to work six days a week, shifting schedule, and on holidays
