JOB DESCRIPTION

• Communicates and cascades instructions of Plant supervisor to the team during his shift in relation to the activities to be performed.
• Ensures work prioritization and ensures timely execution of the team’s assigned targets during their shift.
• Handles shift report preparation and troubleshooting or machine problem reports
• Assumes responsibility for informing immediately production unit of any maintenance related issues encountered for corrective measures.
• Responsible for the electrical corrective repair and overhauling of machinery and its electrical accessories in due time to avoid further damage. Also ensures to document important parts and data when doing repairs and part replacement for repair history purposes.
• Effectively checks the condition of electrical machinery and electrical controls of plant equipment and consistently implements its preventive maintenance to reduce cost on power and repairs and to ensure continuous operation of the plant’s electrical system.
• Responsible for the accurate lay-out and installation of electrical wiring plan.
• Responsible for the effective and timely cleaning of machines, panel boards and transfer stations daily
• Responsible for the monitoring, cleaning, operating and maintaining of plant utilities such as but not limited to, compressors and pumps.
• Secures the plant from fire, electrical or mechanical hazards that may inflict physical injury or damage to property.
• Suggests and recommends necessary constructive measures ensuring improvement and productivity.
• Motivates and inspires self-confidence of subordinates, coaches them in order to build teamwork and establish rapport towards positive result

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Candidate must be a graduate of Mechanical, Electrical, Electromechanical, Industrial Technology , or 3 years technical course in Instrumentation and Control, Mechanical Electrical Technology
• With at least two (2) years work experience in a team leader capacity in a maintenance work environment or at least 5 years maintenance experience
• With transportation service (motorcycle etc) going work is an advantage
