Data and Analytics Test Analyst

Key Responsibilities
- Develop, review, and execute test plans, test cases, and test scripts for Data & Analytics solutions.
- Perform functional, system integration, regression, and end-to-end testing.
- Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency across source and target systems.
- Conduct ETL and data warehouse testing using SQL queries.
- Verify data transformations, mappings, and business rules.
- Perform report and dashboard validation for BI solutions.
- Identify, document, track, and retest defects until resolution.
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, Data Engineers, Developers, and Project Managers throughout the SDLC.
- Support UAT activities and provide test execution reports and status updates.
- Ensure adherence to QA processes and testing best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Testing or Quality Assurance.
- 3+ years of experience testing Data & Analytics, Data Warehouse, or ETL solutions.
- Strong SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation.
- Experience with ETL testing and validating complex data transformations.
- Experience testing enterprise reporting and analytics solutions.
- Strong understanding of the Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC) and SDLC.
- Experience with defect management and test management tools (e.g., Jira, Azure DevOps, HP ALM, or similar).
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience with Data Warehouse platforms.
- Experience with cloud data platforms (Azure, AWS, or GCP).
- Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Qlik.
- Experience with automation testing is an advantage.
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Banking or Financial Services industry experience is a plus.
