Registered Medical Technologist

DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Check validity and accuracy of results, as stated in Quality Assurance Policy
2. Keeps records pertaining to tests performed and checks chart of test results to ensure that variations and standards are within the acceptable quality control ranges.
3. Verify all test results and ensure that they are correctly matched with the specimen
4. Identify, diagnose and repair issues that may arise with the laboratory equipment.
5. Label and organize all tests appropriately to make sure that they are easily retrievable.
6. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to interpret test results or ensure correct test selection
7. Ensure compliance with government requirements, hospital policies, and laboratory procedures, including maintaining the cleanliness of lab equipment, instruments, and work area.
8. Perform quality control procedures on equipment, reagents, and products and maintain proper records for quality control reports and corrective actions.
9. Stay current with medical technology advancements and comply with regulatory guidelines and laws related to laboratory practices.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s degree in medical technology, clinical laboratory science, or any related field
• With valid PRC license
• HIV Proficient, Drug Test Analyst and Biosafety Officer certifications are not required but are an advantage
• With at least 6 months to 1 year related working experience
• Knowledgeable in multiple laboratory procedures
• Strong interpersonal skills and patient-centered approach
• Basic computer skills for medical record management
