Strategic Business Analyst (Business Development)
Role Overview
In this role, you will play a key part in identifying growth opportunities within the power industry, supporting strategic initiatives, and contributing to the development of high-impact projects from concept to execution.
Key Responsibilities- Identify and evaluate new business opportunities in the power industry to support the company’s growth strategy
- Develop and analyze financial models to assess project feasibility, risks, and returns
- Conduct market research and competitive analysis to generate leads and strategic insights
- Support the end-to-end development of projects—from conceptualization to construction—ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives
- Prepare business cases, proposals, and presentations for internal stakeholders and potential partners
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (technical, finance, legal) to ensure smooth execution of business initiatives
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, Economics, Business, or any related field
- Professional certification (CPA, CFA, CMA) is an advantage
- At least 3 years of experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, or business development
- Experience in business project development and management, preferably in the energy or power sector
- Advanced proficiency in MS Excel and strong financial modeling skills
- Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Willingness to travel for business meetings
