Certified Public Accountant (CPA) - Accounting Officer

Job Summary

The Certified Public Accountant (CPA) – Accounting Officer is responsible for overseeing end-to-end accounting operations and ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting. This role requires a highly competent professional with strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and internal controls, capable of working independently and supporting management in financial decision-making.

• Oversee full-cycle accounting operations including general ledger, accounts payable and receivable, bank reconciliations, and month-end and year-end closing
• Ensure compliance with company policies, internal controls, and applicable accounting and financial reporting standards
• Prepare and review monthly and annual financial statements and management reports
• Monitor compliance with Philippine tax regulations, BIR requirements, and statutory reporting
• Coordinate with external auditors, tax consultants, banks, and regulatory agencies
• Review complex accounting transactions and provide technical guidance to accounting staff
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Identify financial and accounting risks and recommend process and control improvements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy
• Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• At least 5–7 years of relevant experience in general accounting, audit, or shared services
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, taxation, and regulatory compliance
• Experience handling full-set accounts and financial reporting
• Proficient in accounting systems and advanced MS Excel
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Willing to work onsite in Mandaluyong

• Experience supervising or mentoring junior accounting staff
