About the role
Amkor Technology Philippines Employees Cooperative is seeking a talented and experienced Certified Public Accountant (CPA) to join our team. As a CPA, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the integrity and efficiency of our financial and operational processes.This is a full-time position based in Muntinlupa City, Metro Manila.
What you'll be doing- Compiles and analyses financial information from the different business operations of the coop. Prepare financial management reports. Evaluate and advise on business operations including revenue and expenditure trends, financial commitments and future revenues.
- Oversee accurate and appropriate recording and analysis of revenues and expenses. Make certain that all financial reporting deadlines are met.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations and integrity of financial data.
- Monitor and ensure financial records are maintained in compliance with generally accepted accounting principles and cooperative procedures and standard of account.
- Provide advice and assistance and early warning of such problems from the different business operations such as cost over-runs, excessive charges, and potential penalties.
- Resolve accounting discrepancies and irregularities.
- Prepare for financial audit and coordinate the audit process.
- Develop models to depict financial and related activities tailored for specific operations.
- Ensure appropriate accounting control procedures.
- Provide strategic recommendations for improvement of the accounting department/system from time to time as flaws are seen, or updates for accounting. Develop efficient use of resources and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting
- Must be a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
- Minimum of 3 years experience in the management of financial systems and budgets, financial reporting, financial data analysis, auditing, taxation and providing financial advice. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
- Thorough understanding of internal control frameworks, risk management, and compliance regulations
