• At least 2-3 years of Australian-equivalent public practice experience in AU tax accounting
• Strong hands-on experience in preparing financial statements, workpapers, and income tax returns
• At least 12 months of direct experience supporting Australian clients or AU tax lodgments
• Background in tax compliance and advisory, with strong client communication and the ability to manage engagements independently or with minimal guidance
• Solid working knowledge of Australian tax laws, Australian Taxation Office requirements, and practical experience in BAS/GST, FBT, CGT, Division 7A, and SMSF compliance

• Prepare and review Australian tax compliance workpapers, financial statements, and lodgments across individuals, companies, trusts, and partnerships, including BAS, income tax, FBT, GST, CGT, and PAYG
• Apply ATO policies, Australian tax legislation, and tax risk frameworks across all engagements
• Manage client compliance queries with senior guidance as needed
• Utilize leading AU tax platforms such as Xero Tax, HandiTax, CCH iFirm, and APS to deliver accurate and efficient tax compliance work
