Housekeeping (Production Facility)

Reports To Housekeeping Supervisor / Facilities Supervisor

Job Purpose:

Maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility by ensuring all assigned areas meet company hygiene, housekeeping, and safety standards to support efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize production areas, offices, restrooms, pantries, locker rooms, and common spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and clear waste from assigned areas.
• Collect, segregate, and dispose of waste following environmental guidelines.
• Restock cleaning supplies, toiletries, and consumables.
• Maintain, store, and properly operate cleaning tools and equipment.
• Respond quickly to cleaning requests and spill cleanup.
• Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and broken equipment to supervisors.
• Comply with health, safety, hygiene, and PPE policies.
• Assist with audits, inspections, and special cleaning activities.
• Perform other assigned housekeeping duties.

Qualifications:

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• At least 6 months to 1 years of housekeeping, janitorial, or utility experience a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment is preferred.
• Physically fit and able to perform manual cleaning tasks.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
• Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures is an advantage.
