Housekeeping Supervisor (Production Facility)
Job Purpose:
Supervise and manage housekeeping operations to maintain a clean, safe, and organized production facility. Ensure housekeeping, sanitation, hygiene, and safety standards are consistently met to support efficient operations and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise daily housekeeping activities and team performance.
- Plan schedules, assign tasks, and monitor work completion.
- Ensure cleanliness, sanitation, and housekeeping standards.
- Conduct facility inspections and address housekeeping concerns.
- Manage cleaning supplies, equipment, and inventory.
- Train, coach, and monitor housekeeping personnel.
- Ensure proper waste management and disposal practices.
- Report safety hazards, maintenance issues, and equipment concerns.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and PPE policies.
- Assist with audits, inspections, and special cleaning activities.
- Maintain housekeeping reports and documentation.
- Coordinate with departments regarding housekeeping requirements.
- Perform other assigned housekeeping duties.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in any field is preferred; High School or vocational graduates with relevant experience may be considered.
- At least 3–5 years of housekeeping, janitorial, or utility experience in a manufacturing, production, warehouse, or industrial environment, with 2 years supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of housekeeping procedures, sanitation standards, cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety practices.
- Experience in leading teams, scheduling, and monitoring performance.
- Basic computer skills for reporting and documentation.
- Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, and holidays if required.
