BOOKKEEPER

The Bookkeeper is responsible for recording daily financial transactions and maintaining accurate financial records. This role supports the accounting function by ensuring financial data is organized and up to date.

KEY FUNCTIONS:

  • Record daily financial transactions, including sales, expenses, and payments
  • Maintain accurate accounts payable and receivable records
  • Reconcile bank statements and cash records
  • Prepare basic financial reports and summaries
  • Organize invoices, receipts, and financial documents
  • Assist accountants with audits and financial reviews
  • Ensure confidentiality of financial information

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Any business related course
  • Previous bookkeeping or clerical accounting experience preferred
  • Basic knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting practices
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Basic math and data entry skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • Familiarity with spreadsheets and bookkeeping software
