Accounting Supervisor
Job Summary
The Accounting Supervisor at Metro Mobilia Inc. oversees daily accounting operations, ensures accurate financial reporting and compliance, supervises accounting staff, and provides financial analysis to support management decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
Financial Reporting & Accounting- Develop and implement an effective accounting system aligned with the organization’s processes.
- Prepare financial statements and accounting records, including income tax returns based on accounting data.
- Maintain accurate and organized financial documentation and records.
- Examine and review financial accounts to ensure accuracy, compliance, and adherence to accounting standards.
- Support the organization in maintaining transparent and reliable financial reporting.
- Prepare monthly bank reconciliation statements.
- Monitor inward remittances and cash movements to ensure proper recording.
- Schedule and process payments and financial obligations.
- Prepare and monitor Accounts Receivable (AR) and Accounts Payable (AP) reports.
- Provide financial insights, reports, and analysis to assist management in strategic decision-making.
- Develop and maintain cost accounting systems, reporting frameworks, and internal control procedures.
- Ensure all accounting functions are properly executed by accounting personnel.
- Provide guidance and support to maintain efficient accounting operations.
- CPA license is preferred.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
- Minimum 4–5 years of relevant accounting or finance experience, preferably in retail, furniture, trading, or inventory-based businesses, with supervisory experience.
- Strong knowledge of financial reporting, taxation, and internal controls
- Advanced Excel skills and experience with SAP accounting system is required.
- Excellent analytical and leadership skills
