Accounting Supervisor

The Accounting Supervisor works closely with the Finance and Accounting Manager to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement in financial processes.

• Supervise the compilation of monthly financial statements, reports, and related attachments for management reporting.
• Assist in the preparation and drafting of annual financial statements.
• Consolidate and maintain inventory reports and ensure accuracy.
• Validate transactions in the general ledger and ensure accuracy.
• Analyze financial reports and provide recommendations to improve financial performance.
• Maintain tax balances on the general ledger and support tax compliance activities.
• Prepare necessary details for monthly tax returns (e.g., VAT, compensation, Expanded, Final Withholding Tax, DST).
• Ensure quarterly attachments for tax returns are prepared and submitted.
• Monitor tax implications of transactions and resolve issues when necessary.
• Act as a liaison between the accounting team and other departments to ensure effective collaboration.
• Assist in internal audit activities and ensure adherence to accounting standards.
• Monitor cash and bank reconciliations to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
• Participate in the annual inventory count and ensure accurate reporting of inventory.
• Ensure timely and efficient submission of financial data to top management and the Finance & Accounting Manager.
• Support the tax audit process, providing necessary documentation and details as required.
• Monitor business permit and clearance renewals to ensure compliance with local regulations.
• Collaborate with the Finance & Accounting Manager in executing financial processes and projects for continuous improvement and cost-efficiency.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation.
• Experience with month-end closing, general ledger transactions, and tax return preparation.
• Ability to analyze financial data, provide recommendations, and implement process improvements.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills to manage and guide the accounting team.
• Attention to detail and the ability to solve complex accounting issues.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and SAP
• Ability to work onsite (Libis, Quezon City)
