Accounting Supervisor

Job Summary

The Accounting Supervisor will focus on compliance, reconciliations, and process efficiency.

1. Accounts Payable (AP) Management & Supervision

• Supervise review, validation, and processing of invoices, reimbursements, and payment requests
• Ensure completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all supporting documents before payment
• Monitor due dates, AP aging, and supervise disbursement schedules and ledger reconciliatioN

1. Compliance & Regulatory Requirements

• Ensure timely submission of BIR reports and compliance with government requirements (BIR, SEC, LGU)
• Support internal and external audits through complete and accurate documentation
• Enforce adherence to company policies, internal controls, and accounting standards (PFRS)

1. Financial Reporting & Internal Controls

• Supervise month-end AP closing and review of AP aging and related reports
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements for efficiency and control strengthening
• Ensure proper documentation, filing, and safekeeping of financial records

1. Coordination & Business Support

• Coordinate with Procurement and other departments for invoice and payment validation
• Support Accounting Head in budget monitoring and expense tracking
• Provide financial data and guidance to AP team for issue resolution and performance improvement

• Bachelor's Degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• 3–5 years of experience in Accounts Payable, General Accounting, or Compliance, preferably with supervisory exposure
• Strong knowledge of Philippine taxation and regulatory compliance (BIR, LGU, SEC requirements)
• Experience in audit handling (internal/external) is an advantage
• Strong leadership, attention to detail, and analytical skills
• Ability to supervise, coach, and manage a finance operations team
• Minimum of 3 years of team supervision experience is required
