Marketing Automation Specialist

This role is well-suited to someone who is technically sharp, detail-oriented, and fully confident working inside CRM and marketing automation platforms at a professional level.

Key Responsibilities:

• Build, customize, and maintain funnels, landing pages, and intake forms within GoHighLevel
• Design and implement automation workflows covering lead nurturing, follow-up sequences, and client onboarding
• Set up and manage CRM pipelines, contact tags, custom fields, and audience segmentation
• Configure and oversee email and SMS marketing campaigns, triggers, and automated sequences
• Connect GoHighLevel with third-party tools using Zapier, webhooks, or native platform integrations
• Build and configure calendars, booking flows, and appointment automation systems
• Manage membership sites, online courses, and client portals within the GHL environment
• Diagnose and resolve technical issues and refine existing automations to improve performance and reliability
• Monitor campaign results and produce clear, actionable performance reports on key metrics
• Write and maintain SOPs and keep all account structures clean and well-organized

Mandatory Skills:

• Proven hands-on experience working at a high level inside GoHighLevel (GHL)
• Strong knowledge of funnel building, workflow automation, and follow-up sequence design
• Demonstrated experience configuring CRM pipelines, contact tags, and custom fields
• Ability to build and manage email and SMS campaigns, sequences, and trigger logic
• Experience with third-party integrations including Zapier, webhooks, and foundational API usage
• Solid understanding of marketing and sales automation principles and how they support real business outcomes
• Reliable, organized, and fully capable of working through technical tasks independently
• Clear and professional communication with the ability to interpret and implement technical direction accurately

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with white-label or agency GoHighLevel setups including SaaS Mode
• Familiarity with Twilio, Mailgun, and other native GHL integrations
• Basic HTML and CSS for landing page and email template customization
• Background in supporting digital marketing or sales agencies managing multiple client accounts
• Experience with reputation management and review automation features within GHL
• Comfortable managing multiple projects or accounts concurrently without losing accuracy or quality
