Finance Lead (UK Accounting) - Onsite

The group operates UK-based gym businesses, CVER Sports media operations, and Czech & Speake, a premium fragrance and grooming brand with a strong US Shopify presence. The finance function supports multi-entity UK operations alongside international e-commerce sales.

This role will build and lead the Philippines finance team. The structure is expected to expand to four members within 12 months. The Senior Finance Lead will recruit, manage, develop, and performance-manage the team while implementing clear KPIs, reporting standards, and accountability frameworks.

Key Responsibilities

Lead month-end close across multiple UK entities
Prepare consolidated management accounts and board-level reporting
Oversee UK VAT compliance and external accountant liaison
Manage budgets, rolling forecasts, and cashflow planning
Monitor site-level profitability and working capital performance
Design and implement scalable accounting processes
Drive automation across bookkeeping, reconciliations, and reporting
Introduce AI and technology efficiencies to streamline workflows
Implement structured internal controls and governance procedures
Recruit, lead, and develop a growing finance team

Experience Required

Minimum 7 years UK accounting experience
Strong IFRS and UK GAAP knowledge
Multi-entity reporting background
Proven experience managing and developing finance staff
Demonstrated track record improving systems and processes
Experience implementing automation or AI-driven efficiencies
Advanced Excel capability
Strong commercial mindset and leadership presence
