Accounting Supervisor

The ideal candidate is a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to financial reporting, budgeting, and process optimization.

• Financial Oversight: Supervise the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring all financial statements are prepared accurately and on time.
• General Ledger Management: Oversee general ledger functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
• Budgeting & Forecasting: Lead the development of annual budgets and periodic financial forecasts to support organizational goals.
• Compliance: Ensure all accounting activities adhere to Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), local laws, and internal policies particularly with BIR compliance.
• Reporting: Prepare comprehensive financial reports and analysis for senior management to aid in strategic decision-making.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a culture of accuracy and professional growth.
• Process Improvement: Evaluate and streamline internal controls and bookkeeping procedures to enhance operational efficiency

Who we are looking for:

• Must have a Bachelor's degree in BS Accountancy or other related fields
• Preferably a Certified Public Accountant (CPA)
• Advanced proficiency knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, spreadsheet applications, and accounting systems
• Thorough knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting best practices, laws, standards, and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) as well as BIR compliance and regulatory requirements
• Experience with preparing financial statements, general ledger functions, and the month-end / year-end close process
• Strong budgeting and forecasting skills
• Strong analytical and financial reporting skills
• Strong management and leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Work arrangement: Onsite (Paseo de Roxas, Makati).
