Job Summary:
We are seeking a Technical Support Representative (TSR) with a degree in Electrical Engineering and a background or strong knowledge in solar energy systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to customers via phone, chat, and email.
This position requires strong problem-solving skills, technical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support to customers regarding solar panel systems and other related products
- Assist clients via phone, chat, and email in a timely and professional manner
- Troubleshoot system errors, performance issues, and basic electrical faults
- Interpret technical documentation and explain concepts clearly to customers
- Escalate complex issues to the appropriate department or senior engineers
- Document customer interactions and resolutions in the support system
- Stay updated with new solar technologies, products, and services
- Maintain a high level of customer satisfaction by providing quality service and solutions
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (Required)
- Knowledge or experience with solar panels/solar energy systems (Strongly preferred)
- At least 1 year of technical support or customer service experience in a BPO or engineering-related environment
- Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment
- Excellent problem-solving and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency with basic computer systems and CRM tools
