Duties and Responsibilities:
- Supervise Sales Associates and Specialists, including performance monitoring and evaluation;
- Identify improvement areas and recommend development goals;
- Coach and mentor the sales team to achieve targets;
- Support sales-related activities and assist team members;
- Serve disciplinary actions according to the company’s code of conduct matrix of authority;
- Implement effective sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets and objectives;
- Review, monitor, and evaluate sales plans
- Build a pipeline of leads across industries through cold calls and referrals;
- Maintain records of client and account information to track decision-makers and relationship history;
- Collaborate with the Sales Unit Head to define sales goals, budgets, and KPIs;
- Discuss the KPIs with the Associates and Specialists, making sure that accountabilities and deliverables are clear and understood;
- Control expenses within the agreed budget;
- Achieve monthly and annual sales targets and close assigned number of accounts by end of year or until sales volume targets are met
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify new opportunities for growth;
- Create and nurture business opportunities by servicing current accounts and developing new ones;
- Build and maintain positive business and customer relationships through proactive engagement and excellent service
- Research and understand client needs to create winning pitches and proposals;
- Brief the team on key client insights to ensure relevant and effective presentations;
- Create or edit presentation decks of all available billboard sites and send email blasts to clients;
- Present and pitch to clients effectively;
- · Prepare sales proposals, quotes, and agreements in accordance with company policies and legal guidelines;
- Follow up on agreements, ensuring timely invoicing, and facilitating smooth payment processes;
- Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with clients within the suggested retail price to maximize profitability while meeting customer requirements
- Make pricing and discount decisions within set parameters, informing superiors as needed.
- Develop and maintain a trusted advisor relationship with key accounts, customer stakeholders, and executive sponsors to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty;
- Keep internal teams informed about project status and client requirements;
- Ensure timely and successful delivery of solutions according to customer needs and objectives;
- Monitor projects from contract signing to completion to ensure successful delivery of solutions;
- Billing of all solicited accounts;
- Preparation and submission of reports on account pipeline, itinerary, call sheet reports, and account information sheets;
- Monitoring and updating tracking of team sales per advertising medium;
- Safekeeping reports needed by clients and internal records;
Key Competencies and Skills Needed:
- Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Communications; Marketing Management; Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 4 - 5 years corporate sales experience in the marketing and/or advertising industry or in media-related sales work.
- A solid understanding of the out-of-home media industry, including industry trends, regulations, and best practices
