Key RolesThe Concrete Estimator analyzes blueprints, specifications, and site conditions to calculate precise costs for materials (concrete, rebar, forms), labor, and equipment. This role is essential in ensuring the accuracy of bids and maintaining project profitability.
The Concrete Estimator collaborates with sales, project management, and construction teams to ensure the project stays within budget while meeting all specifications.
Responsibilities- Take-offs & Quantifying: Perform accurate quantity takeoffs for concrete, reinforcement, and formwork based on project plans and specifications.
- Cost Analysis: Conduct cost analysis for materials, labor, equipment, and transportation.
- Bid Preparation: Prepare comprehensive bids and proposals, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Vendor Negotiation: Negotiate pricing with suppliers and subcontractors to secure favorable rates.
- Site Evaluation and Time & Motion Study: Conduct thorough site evaluations to assess potential project challenges and constraints, while also incorporating time and motion studies to analyze task efficiency and optimize workflows.
- Budget Maintenance: Monitor project costs against original estimates and provide regular updates to project teams.

Required Skills & Qualifications- Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of concrete construction methods, materials, and local building codes.
- Analytical Skills: Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Software Proficiency: Experience with estimation software (e.g., Bluebeam or specialized concrete software).
- Mathematics & Detail: High proficiency in math (algebra, geometry) with exceptional attention to detail.
- Communication: Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with clients, contractors, and field staff.
Work Schedule:Work Schedule: Monday - Friday (12mn - 9am MNL time)
