Job Description:
The Implementation Consultant is a customer-facing delivery role responsible for implementing client requirements within the platform through configuration and solution design. The role involves gathering, analysing, and translating business requirements into functional and technical solutions, and configuring platform components such as workflows, business rules, data models, financial calculations, and document templates.
The role acts as a key customer liaison and trusted advisor throughout the implementation lifecycle, requiring strong stakeholder engagement and the ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences. The consultant ensures the successful delivery of solutions by working closely with customers, internal teams, and developers.
Key responsibilities include:
- Eliciting and analysing customer requirements using structured BA techniques.
- Translating requirements into functional and technical specifications.
- Designing and configuring insurance products, claims data models, workflows, and business rules.
- Building user journeys, interfaces, and platform configurations.
- Implementing financial calculations and business logic using scripting/configuration tools.
- Supporting system testing, integration testing, and customer UAT.
- Managing data migration, mapping, and transformation requirements.
- Facilitating stakeholder workshops and customer discussions.
- Managing project scope, risks, changes, and delivery updates.
- Acting as the primary customer liaison during implementation projects.
- Collaborating with development teams to design and enhance platform features.
- Producing and maintaining project and system documentation.
Qualifications and requirements:
- Experience in technical implementation or BA-type delivery roles.
- Ability to work across both technical configuration and business analysis responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills in complex platform environments.
- Demonstrated ability to handle difficult stakeholder conversations professionally
Non-negotiable skills and requirements:
- Strong hands-on technical background (Java or similar programming experience required).
- Experience with scripting languages such as C#, Groovy, or Python.
- Strong SQL / PostgreSQL experience and database understanding.
- Proven ability to configure and troubleshoot complex enterprise systems.
- Strong understanding of SDLC and full project lifecycle delivery.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management experience.
