Seller Acquisition Specialist, Business Development (Philippines E-Commerce)
Responsibilities
About the team The team is responsible in acquiring, and onboarding sellers/brands to the platform, as well as delivering best customer experience by providing best service. Key Responsibilities- Lead Generation & Brand Acquisition: Proactively identify and engage potential brand partners through strategic lead generation, effectively communicate platform value propositions and unique features to drive successful brand onboarding.
- Platform Expertise & Solution Design: Develop comprehensive knowledge of platform capabilities, key initiatives, and available tools to assess brand requirements and deliver customized solutions that align with partners' business objectives.
- Cross-functional Collaboration & Market Intelligence: Partner closely with category operations teams to gain deep insights into merchant ecosystems, market trends, and competitive landscape to inform targeted acquisition strategies and identify high-value opportunities.
- Relationship Management & Deal Optimization: Cultivate and maintain strong merchant relationships, negotiate favorable partnership terms, and optimize deal structures based on seasonal campaigns, market conditions, and mutual growth objectives.
- Onboarding & Growth Support: Guide newly acquired sellers through comprehensive onboarding processes, including shop setup, business requirement documentation, inventory migration from other platforms, educational resource sharing, and ongoing support during the critical growth phase.
- Performance & Quality Assurance: Monitor and enhance seller performance metrics including order fulfillment rates, return/cancellation rates, shipping efficiency, and overall service quality to maximize conversion rates and customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent practical experience. 3-5 years of experience in acquiring and incubating brands and marketplace sellers within e-commerce industry. Preferred Qualifications Direct working experience with sellers from relevant industries is highly preferred.Strong strategic thinking capabilities and basic data analysis skills. Experience with selling through content/live-streaming. Experience in category management is preferred, but not required.
