Job Description

The Sales Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting shoppers in finding products that meet their needs, and driving store sales. This role involves maintaining store presentation, handling transactions, and building strong customer relationships to ensure repeat business.

• Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
• Understand customer needs and provide appropriate product recommendations.
• Demonstrate product knowledge, including features, benefits, and promotions.
• Achieve and exceed individual and store sales targets.
• Process transactions accurately using the point-of-sale (POS) system.
• Maintain cleanliness and visual presentation of the store, including stock replenishment and merchandising.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns efficiently and courteously.
• Support inventory management by assisting in stock receiving, tagging, and cycle counts.
• Stay updated on product knowledge, sales techniques, and company policies.
• Contribute to a positive team environment and support colleagues when needed.

Qualifications/Requirements

• K-12 graduate or equivalent (college level/graduate preferred).
• Proven experience in retail sales or customer service is an advantage.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
• Basic computer and POS knowledge.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays.
