The Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) Planning Engineer plans and organizes all electrical and control system maintenance activities in bunker-fired and diesel power plants.

He prepares maintenance schedules, manpower plans, spare parts lists, and shutdown activities for generators, switchgear, transformers, motors, sensors, control panels, PLC systems, and protection devices. Ensures that both electrical power systems and plant control systems are properly maintained and ready for operation.

Qualifications/Requirements

Develop method for inspection and monitoring of Electrical & Instrumentation equipment and keep the availability of its record.
Carries the preventive and corrective maintenance of the Electrical & Instrumentation Equipment such as Motors, Auxiliaries and other Electrical equipment.
Establishes a forecast level of the parts and the logistic support requirements for the routine maintenance work schedule and planned maintenance program of the plant and facilities the availability of the needed parts and materials on time.
Analyzes the schematics and drawings of Electrical & Instrumentation systems for the purpose of efficient troubleshooting and installation.
Monitoring and Updating Status of schedule repair, reconditioning, pull out and installation of Pumps, Motors and related plant auxiliary equipment.
