Job Summary
CIIT College of Arts and Technology is looking for a passionate Part-Time College Instructor to teach PATHFIT 1–4 (Physical Activities Toward Health and Fitness). The instructor will facilitate engaging, student-centered physical education classes that promote lifelong fitness, wellness, healthy lifestyle habits, and holistic development.The role involves creating a safe and inclusive learning environment while encouraging students to develop physical competence, teamwork, discipline, and overall well-being.
Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education, Sports Science, Exercise and Sports Sciences, Human Kinetics, Sports Coaching, Recreation, or any related field
- Strong background in teaching, coaching, sports instruction, fitness training, or wellness programs
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and classroom management skills
- Knowledgeable in physical fitness assessment, exercise programming, sports, recreation, and health promotion
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and online learning tools
- Passionate about promoting healthy lifestyles and student development
- Deliver engaging and learner-centered instruction for PATHFIT 1–4 courses
- Facilitate physical activities, fitness exercises, sports, and wellness-related learning experiences
- Prepare lesson plans, instructional materials, assessments, and practical activities aligned with the curriculum
- Monitor and assess student participation, performance, and progress
- Ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment during all physical activities
- Encourage teamwork, sportsmanship, discipline, and healthy lifestyle practices among students
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and constructive feedback to students
- Collaborate with academic leaders and fellow faculty members on academic and student development initiatives
- Participate in academic meetings, school activities, and faculty development programs
