New Product Development Officer:
We are a fast-growing FMCG company specializing in non-food consumer products, committed to delivering innovative, high-quality, and sustainable solutions to every household. As we continue to expand, we are looking for a creative, detail-oriented, and driven New Product Development Officer to join our growing team.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist in the development of food and non-food consumer products, including household care, personal care, home essentials, as well as food supplements and drug products.
Support product conceptualization, formulation, packaging development, and product improvement initiatives.
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify consumer trends, market opportunities, and product innovations.
Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturers regarding product samples, raw materials, quotations, and cost estimates.
Assist in product testing, evaluation, validation, and documentation to ensure product quality and compliance.
Work closely with the Marketing, Sales, Procurement, and Supply Chain teams throughout the product development and launch process.
Monitor product performance after launch and recommend improvements based on customer and market feedback.
Ensure compliance with FDA regulations, product labeling requirements, and other applicable government standards.
Prepare and maintain technical documents, product specifications, certificates, and regulatory requirements for government submissions.
Assist in processing product registrations and documentation with the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
Support Intellectual Property (IP) documentation and coordinate with the Intellectual Property Office of the Philippines (IPOPHL) when necessary.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Marketing, Business Management, Pharmacy, Food Technology, or any related field.
At least 2–3 years of relevant experience in New Product Development, Product Research & Development (R&D), Quality Assurance, Regulatory Affairs, or Laboratory Analysis, preferably in an FMCG company.
Experience in handling food supplements, drug products, or non-food consumer products is an advantage.
Knowledgeable in FDA regulations, including product registration, labeling compliance, permits, and related documentation.
Familiarity with IPOPHL processes and intellectual property documentation is an advantage.
Experience in preparing technical reports, certificates, and compliance documents for government agency submissions.
Strong analytical, organizational, and project coordination skills.
Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications. Experience with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems is an advantage.
